Bluetooth-Enabled Wearable ECG Monitoring System for Continuous Cardiac Health Tracking

Abstract

This paper describes a wearable ECG monitoring system integrated with Bluetooth technology, which is capable of providing continuous tracking of cardiac health with high mobility and increased convenience for the patient. The sensor system consists of an advanced sensor technology and strong signal processing algorithm to reliably capture the ECG signal during daily life, and it solves certain issues such as motion, and the variable sensor position. The device applies Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) technology to the wireless transmission which is seamless and low-power, and can also realize real-time monitoring and remote health service, which can provide timely medical intervention for the real healthcare of the patients, and also offer an intelligent monitor device with low charges and power consumption for the patient with chronic diseases. The small and portable design promotes long-term use to enhance patient compliance and yield accurate data. Unlike existing wearable ECG solutions that suffer from one or more of the aforementioned limitations, the present solution provides a scalable, low-cost, and user-friendly platform that represents a significant advancement over the state of heart monitoring technology, offering enhanced patient outcomes and expanded access to recurring heart health analysis.
