PEER REVIEW PROCESS

Introduction to peer review

At the International Journal of Recent Trends in Technology and Engineering (IJRTTE), peer review exists to ensure that the research we publish is scientifically sound, original, and valuable to the community. We follow a double-blind peer review process, where both the reviewers and the authors remain anonymous to each other throughout the evaluation. This approach helps eliminate bias and ensures objective feedback.

Many authors may initially find the peer review process challenging, especially when facing revision requests or rejections. However, peer review is not meant to discourage authors-it is an essential step in improving the manuscript and raising its academic quality before publication.

Peer review is a positive process

Peer reviewers at IJRTTE are subject-matter experts who volunteer their time to help improve the quality of manuscripts. They offer professional, unbiased, and detailed feedback that benefits both the authors and the research community.

Through the peer review process, manuscripts should become:
• More robust: Reviewers identify missing details, suggest further clarification, or recommend additional experiments.
• Easier to read: :  Feedback often highlights unclear or complex sections, allowing authors to improve the readability of their paper.
• More useful:  Reviewers assess the impact and significance of the research, helping to ensure its usefulness within the field.

Editorial Rejection

Your journal manuscript can be rejected if it:

• Lacks a coherent structure or scientific clarity.

• Offers no novel contribution or fails to clearly identify new findings.

• Contains outdated or insufficient references

• Includes unsupported claims or conclusions.

• Lacks detailed methodology and experimental reproducibility.

• Has unclear hypotheses, weak design, or flawed statistical analysis.

• Shows poor language quality or excessive grammatical errors .
